Why should I join?
By joining Thurrock (West) Freecycle, you will be helping the fight to reduce the local landfill sites by passing on items that still have life in them.
Anything that you no longer have a need for can be gifted to others. If you have an old TV, freezer or even a door, feel free to post it onto our group as someone will be willing to take it off your hands and reuse it in their own home. Everything you no longer use can be passed on to others, as long as it's legal and appropriate, you can use our group to do this.
Thurrock (West) Freecycle is free to join and everything offered or requested is free, no money changes hands at any time, what better way is there when you require an item that you just can't quite afford ?
Maybe you can afford to buy new but you just don't conform to the throw away society we now live in.
If you would be willing to receive another persons item, which is in a good working order, please feel free to ask away!
If an item still works, don't throw it out just because you want to buy new! Pass it on!

You can also make new friends with other like minded people in our great community and you will get that 'feel good factor' just by knowing you are helping others out and by doing your bit for the environment.
