The event will take place in Chafford Hundred on Sunday 16th March 2008 at 12 noon.

Your race number, route map and a general information sheet will be sent to entrants 1 week prior to the race. Please ensure that you bring your race number with you on the day.

The course will utilise local paths and will begin near the Essex Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre . The route will be fully marshalled and runners are advised to follow the direction of the marshals, to use the pavement wherever possible and to be vigilant for traffic.

If you intend to register on the day, please arrive in plenty of time, as the registration desk will only open from 10:45am – 11:30am and race numbers will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, spaces are limited and your place cannot be guaranteed.

No on the day entries will be taken after 11:30am on the day.

Essex Water has kindly donated free bottled water (500ml) to each runner, which will be handed out at the finish line.

There will be medals for all runners who complete the course.

Refreshments and light snacks will be available all day from the Essex Wild Life Centre.

£5.00 per entrant - £7.00 on the day

Although the entry fees for the race helps raise some money after the costs of putting on the event, it's the sponsorship raised by runners that will really make the difference. So we hope that every person taking part will try to raise as much as they can to help the appeal (but obviously you are under no obligation to do so). If you would like to raise sponsorship, you can download a sponsorship form from this website.

Once you have raised your sponsorship, please either bring it with you on the day and hand it in at race HQ, or send a cheque (payable to Chafford Hundred Events) to:
