The event will take place in Chafford Hundred on Sunday 25 March 2007.

The run is approximately 5K. The day starts with assembly at the Sand Martin Pub from 11:15am and the 5K Fun Run will commence promptly at 12 noon from the top of Clifford Road.

If you intend to register on the day, please arrive in plenty of time, as the registration desk will only open from 10:45am – 11:30am and race numbers will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, spaces are limited and your place cannot be guaranteed.

No entries will be taken after 11:30am on the day .

The course will utilise local roads and will begin at the top of Clifford Road. The route will be fully marshalled and runners are advised to follow the direction of the marshals, to use the pavement wherever possible and to be vigilant for traffic.

Your race number, route map and a general information sheet will be sent to entrants 2 weeks prior to the race. For team entries this will be sent to the Team Contact. Please ensure that you bring your race number with you on the day – No number, no race!

Teams must comprise of 4 people (work colleagues, family members, friends, and neighbours - anyone as long as there is exactly 4 entrants who must be at least 16 year's old).

Last date for postal entries will be Monday, 19 March 2007.

Essex Water has kindly donated free bottled water (500ml) to each runner, which will be handed out at the finish line.

There will be medals for all runners who complete the course. The winners of the team entries will be the first team to finish with the fastest collective time.

Refreshments and food will be available all day from the Sand Martin Pub.

All runners will receive a discount on food purchased at the Sand Martin Pub. (Discount voucher can only be used on Sunday, 25 March 2007).

£5.00 per entrant - £7.00 on the day

£20.00 team entries (teams of 4) - £28.00 on the day
