On this page you'll find a list of all the attractions the Community Forum planned, on June 17th, to make CD:2006 a day to remember.

We looked for local companies and organisations to come forward and sponsor either partially or fully the cost of each of the activities. The more activities we had sponsored, the more we were able to provide for the Community going forward.

Skating Rink - Sponsored by: Bairstow Eves

We know it was a hot Summers Day on the 17th.

What could of possibly been better than getting on the rink.

Boots were provided. Was Dad really as good as he says
he is when he's watching "Dancing on Ice" on a Saturday
Evening. An activity for all ages.

Golf Simulator - Sponsored by: Mercedes Benz Lakeside

How's your Golf Handicap?
Richard Herring, the Golf Pro, from Orsett Golf Club, help improve players technique.
Whether they were a seasoned pro, or just wished to try Golf for the first time, lots of people made a bee-line for Richards area.

All were welcome, if you've never played before or you simpy wished to pick up some tips from the pro, this was your chance.

Climbing Wall - Sponsored by: Essex Ford

We got six at a time on our climbing wall.
It was suitable for most ages and fully supervised.
We guaranteed one thing, you had the best
view in Chafford Hundred, if you got to the top!
The poor supervisor, had got a bum job and was
no doubt witness to some of the worst views
of Chafford Hundred.

Bouncy Castles - Sponsored by: Early Learning Centre

We know the little ones, don't like the Bouncy Castles with the older ones.
So we hired two and used them for different age groups.

Mega Giant Slide - Sponsored by: CHCF

What is their to say? It's clearly a Mega Giant Slide. We all know how to use them.

Surf Board - Sponsored by: CHCF

Kids Striker - Sponsored by :CHCF

Ok, so Dad didn't do so well and he complained about his back. But that did't mean the kids had to hit a Strike every time.

We hope everyone enjoyed the various activities that were on display and everyone had a go at something. We would like to thank all the local businesses for their support in CD:2006 and we look forward to seeing more people next year.
